RQ – GW33 Review & GW34 Preview

After taking a week off writing my weekly piece, I went into GW33 ranked at 37.7k (up from the previous of 48.3k).

With 2 x FT and the Spurs assets blanking, I wanted to take a one-week punt on either;

  • Son to Greenwood or
  • Kane to Vardy

I opted for Kane to Vardy with the plan to bring the Spurs asset back in for GW34 (understanding that I would need to raise about 0.4 to transfer Kane in).

Short Summary:

  • Salah returned despite Liverpool assets underperforming with the XG
  • TAA missing out on the CS
  • Holding being punished for Leno’s embarrassing mistake
  • Starting to question Jota’s future in my squad (6 pts from 3 since WC)
  • Vardy punt infuriatingly failed
  • Iheanacho playing like a premium
  • Dallas and Shaw CS took me out of my brief live rank of 23k

I ended the GW with 55 points which climbed my rank from 37.7k to 34.5k.

Going into GW34, I have 2 x FT which I will be using.

GW34 Thoughts, Transfers, Captain & Team Reveal

My plans this week is to stay “shield” with my changes and any ranks (even if small) are duly appreciated.

I have made the following transfers:

  • Coady to Alioski
  • Vardy to Kane

This leaves me with 0.3m in the bank.

Kane as captain is the only option in my opinion, coupled with Son could be a fruitful game of hauls against the already relegated SHU.

Of course, this is subject to change but for confirmation, checkout my twitter rey_qur for my finalised line-up.

Good Luck on your gameweeks and please leave your thoughts and comments.
