RQ – BGW29 Review & GW30 Thoughts

Blank Gameweek 29 Review

After weeks of planning, I have a strong sense of relief that the blank has finally subsided, and I can now focus on attacking the rest of the season.

Despite a couple of gambles failing, I still ended up with 58(-4) which climbed me from 84.9k to 72k. The changes I decided to make were: Stones, Salah and Son out for Cresswell, Bale and Lookman. Thus, I made a +1 profit from those transfers (obviously I am going to win FPL!).

The biggest regret was not going for Trossard, however Potter is renowned for rotating and I was keen on fielding as many guaranteed starters as possible (despite my poor Bale selection).

Fortunately, my curse of captain blanks has stopped with Kane returning and I will continue with the Spurs talisman for the coming GW.

GW30 Thoughts, Transfers & Captain

I am so excited to activate the wildcard for GW31, therefore I will use this week’s transfer to bring in a Chelsea defender for the favourable fixture against WBA. The likely selection will be Azpilicueta.

My headache is what to do about Bale this week. With his recent comments and Mourinho’s volatile behaviour in the past few weeks, I am fearful Bale will be benched and/or come on for the latter stages of TOT v NEW.

Either Bale or Dias will start, but the below is pretty much the confirmed team;

Azpil – Dallas – Targett
Dias/ Bale – Bruno – Gundogan – Raphinha
Antonio – Kane – Bamford

Subs: Fabri, Dias/ Bale, Lookman, Cresswell

Kane is the only captain I am considering and will have huge EO going into the GW30.

Of course, this is subject to change but for confirmation, checkout my twitter rey_qur for my finalised line-up.

Good Luck on your gameweeks and please leave your thoughts and comments.
